Board of County Commissioners – Camas County, Idaho

The Board of County Commissioners of Camas County, Idaho, will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Room located in the Camas County Annex Building, 517 Soldier Road, Fairfield, Idaho.

The purpose of this hearing is to consider the adoption of an ordinance to re-establish the Area of Impact (AOI) for the City of Fairfield pursuant to Idaho Code 67-6526. The proposed ordinance would re-establish the current AOI boundary surrounding the City of Fairfield. All interested persons are invited to attend and provide oral or written testimony. Written comments may be submitted to the Camas County Clerk, Camas County Courthouse, 501 Soldier Road, Fairfield, ID 83327, no later than Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. All comments received by the deadline will be included in the public record. A map of the proposed Area of Impact, along wit the draft ordinance and supporting materials, is available for public review at the Courthouse during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Notice of this hearing will be published in the Camas Courier at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date and will also be mailed and posted as required by law.
