Effective July 1, the Idaho recording fee schedule will be as follows:
For recording documents thirty (30) pages or less:
$15.00: Deeds, grants and conveyance documents
$45.00: Trust deeds or mortgages, fixture filings, security agreements and assignments
$15.00: Reconveyances of trust deeds and mortgage releases
$10.00: Substitutions of trustee
$25.00: Power of attorney
$15.00: Mining claims–proof of labor/assessment, location filing
For recording documents over thirty (30) pages or instrument types not set forth above, the previous recording fee structure applies:
$10.00 for the first page plus $3.00 for each additional page
$1.00 each page for copies of any record or paper
$5. 00 each page for certified copies (crimp seal), per document
$1.00 for release or assignment where more than one (1) document is released or assigned in the same instrument, for each additional release or assignment
$11.00 for recording every town plat or map, for first one-hundred (100) lots or less.
$1.00 for each additional lot
$5.00 for filing a survey or highway right-of-way plat
$10.00
Camas County Recorder’s Search Fees: as of February 2022
$5.00 per search plus $1.00 per page: Any search taking more than 2 hours, Clerk’s wages will be assessed.

E-RECORDING
For all entities who submit documents electronically, Simplifile E-Recording is Camas County’s current program. Please call us for a user code to access Simplifile.
PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST
The Camas County Clerk’s Office processes public records requests in accordance with the Idaho Public Records Act. To request public records, please complete the Public Records Request Form and submit it to the Clerk’s Office by mail, email, or in person.
MARRIAGE LICENSE INFORMATION
The license is $15.00 and to record is $13.00.
